2023/24 Italian Serie A
Matchday 37
Bologna FC v Juventus FC
Stadio Renato Dall'Ara
Bologna, Italy
Monday, 20 May 2024
Kick-off is at 20h45 CAT
Bologna FC will lock horns with their top-four rivals Juventus FC in a
Serie A match at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on 20 May.
Current Form
Bologna are undefeated in their last eight matches in the Italian top-flight having secured a 2-0 victory over SSC Napoli away on 11 May.
The Greyhounds are also undefeated in their last three matches at home having recorded two successive draws and one win at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
Meanwhile, Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by a stubborn US Salernitana side at home on 12 May and they are now unbeaten in their last six Serie A games.
However, the Old Lady are also winless in their last seven away league matches having registered four draws and three defeats as the visitors.
Team News
Adama Soumaoro and Lewis Ferguson are both on Bologna's injury list, and the club has no suspension concerns.
On the other hand, Juventus trio Danilo, Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio are currently injured while Nicolò Fagioli and Paul Pogba are both suspended.
Quotes
"If you don't score, you have to be careful not to concede and instead we conceded. Giving grades at this moment is useless," Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri said after his side's draw with Salernitana.
"Regarding my future, just be patient a little bit longer, in 10-15 days you'll know what will happen next year. I am only focused on these last games of the season. Juventus must qualify for the Champions League next season.
"If we succeed, it would be the 13th consecutive season that they achieve this goal on the field. The final against a team like Atalanta that has grown a lot will certainly be balanced, it is a one-off game and we will have to try to make as few mistakes as possible."
Head-to-Head
Bologna and Juventus played to a 1-1 draw in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 27 August 2023 at the Allianz Stadium.
Therefore, the Old Lady are undefeated in their last 23 league matches against the Greyhounds having recorded six draws and 17 wins.
